Challenge
Because indicator readings were recorded manually, there was a large gap between data collection, digitization, and visualization. As a result, Apsen’s production managers faced the challenge of identifying line stoppages and bottlenecks faster, and gaining a better, more accurate view of the production flow.

Apsen tracked its production flow in a very basic way, so its data was often imprecise or even nonexistent. For
example, there was no information on how many products were queued for production at each piece of equipment. With the adoption of our digital productivity kanban (Flow View), the entire production cycle began to be tracked with real-time information for every stage and every piece of equipment.
