Granado uses Cogtive software to boost factory productivity in cosmetics manufacturing
Cosmetics manufacturer Granado is betting on Industry 4.0 to double its production by 2030. The company has automated management at its manufacturing plant in Japeri, in the Baixada Fluminense region of Rio de Janeiro, and recently invested in an operations management software focused on factory productivity gains, supplied by Cogtive, with a focus on the manufacturing sector. Rodrigo Monteiro, the company’s industrial director, leads the implementation of the 4.0 project.

“Since it opened in 2014, the plant has shown impressive growth, with volume increasing by more than 10% a year and around 1,000 employees working four shifts across our manufacturing complex,” Monteiro says.
Monteiro explains that Cogtive’s solution can identify bottlenecks and reduce the time needed to complete production of a batch, while also providing precise indicators on equipment performance and a clear view of the production flow.
